Beer. Art. Live Music. And did I mention beer? It doesn't get any better than this on a fall evening in downtown Hammond.
The annual Brews Arts Festival will be held on Friday September 28 from 5pm - 8pm in the Morrison Park Alley (located behind Rotolo's). Coordinated by The Red White & Brew, a beer tasting featuring 50 beers from around the world will be the headliner. Festival goers will be able to view, purchase or win art at the art exhibits on hand. There will also be a live painting demo by Matthew Wittle.
And while the brews are being sampled and the art is being bought you can enjoy live music by the U.S. Navy's Crescent City Jazz Combo band.
Beer Tasting tickets are on sale now for $20. Tickets purchased at the event will cost $25. You may purchase tickets by contacting the Hammond Regional Arts Center at 985-542-7113 or emailing info@hammondarts.org. Guest not tasting beer get in free.
Brews Art Fest 2012 is being sponsored by Hunt Telecom and The Red White & Brew.
