8th Annual Starry November Night Schedule

Are you ready to kick-off the holiday season with a bang?  Come on out tonight and enjoy a stroll through the streets of historic downtown Hammond for the 8th annual Starry November Night. The Krewe has put together a schedule of events highlighting some of the must see festivities.  So there is no excuse to miss Hammond's largest block party.  A block party that combines music, food, art & wine stroll, shopping, snow and every one's favorite jolly ole fella.  Hope to see y'all there! 

Starry November Night Schedule
5:30pm - Opening ceremony in the Louisiana Children's Discovery Center parking lot.  Guest can meet here to ride the carriage to the La Carreta stage.

6:00pm - Wine stroll wristbands go on sale at the Downtown Development District office.  Wristbands are $20 and includes a wine glass and stroll brochure

Carriage Rides
Tickets are $5 (children 12 & under are free)
Tickets can be purchased at The Steakhouse and Nortech
Rides start at 5:45 with boarding on S. Cate Street (Louisiana Children's Discovery Center)

Louisiana Children's Discovery Center
Will be open from 6pm-8pm
Kids can enjoy hot chocolate, and cookies & milk as they visit with Piper the Pelican and Sparky the dog.

Santa and Snow and Stars, oh my!
Starting at 6pm
  • Play in the Snow behind the Downtown Development District Office
  • Enjoy Stargazing with the Pontchartrain Astronomy Society behind the Chamber of Commerce
  • Meet & take your picture with Santa Claus in the Post Office parking lot
