Hammond's Hot August Night - August 17th

Ya' looking for something really cool to beat the August heat?  Well gather your friends and head to the 17th annual Hot August Night in historic downtown Hammond, LA on Friday August 17th.  Activities start at 6pm.

Hot August Night is one of the coolest gatherings in one of Louisiana's certified Cultural Districts.  Art is the major focus for Hot August Night, but you can also check out the various "Hot Spots", where local merchants will be hosting wine tastings.  Once you have viewed the local art exhibits enjoy a stroll with friends through the streets and take advantage of the late evening shopping.  And what is a block party without music.  Visit the stage at La Carreta for live music and the best frozen margaritas.

The Krewe's favorite places to be on Hot August Night are The Red White & Brew (120 E Thomas) for drinks and Your Mom's Bar & Grill (111 E Morris) for the best burgers in town.  Be on the look out for us!
